How the score works. Every 5 minutes gets 0–100. Dry, calm and grey starts at 85 and sunshine lifts it towards 100. Rain costs the most, then wind above 4 m/s and a feels-like temperature below 12 ° or above 22 °. A walk scores its average, pulled down by its worst moment. A shared walk is scored in each place and gets the lowest of those scores, so it's only as good as the worst place. Every walk length in your range is compared in 10-minute steps (40, 50 and 60 minutes by default), and the longer walk wins a near-tie.

Radar. The latest DMI radar composite is compared with the one 20 minutes earlier to find how the rain is moving. That motion is projected forward to say when rain reaches each place. For the next 2½ hours the radar outweighs the model, fading out as the projection gets less reliable.

Share and automate. The address bar always holds your postcodes, so you can send it to your walk mate. The same plan is available as data, without the radar adjustment.
